Minakshi did her schooling at The Cathedral & John Connon school in Mumbai and then went on to pursue a bachelor's degree in arts from Jai hind, Mumbai, India.
Thereafter, she started a handicraft brand called "Chunari" in Jaipur retailing out of the iconic Rambagh Palace Hotel, Rajasthan, India.
In 2015, Minakshi answered her innate and persistent "call to the wild" and ventured into the world of agriculture and farming,
obtaining a "PDC" under the renowned facilitator Ms. Clea Chandmal. After implementing her knowledge and practicing her
craft pro-bono on numerous small subsistence farms, she started off as a freelance agriculture consultant, catering to
larger farmlands in South Goa and North Goa. Her healing touch helped them rejuvenate the soil and cultivate nutritionally
rich plants keeping in mind the local ecosystem.
In 2019, Minakshi joined hands with the NGO "Green Himalayas" and was appointed the C.O.O, she was based in Ladakh and headed
their project on sustainability, dealing with the nomads from Changthang and surrounding areas.
The book "Aranyakas The Forest Dwellers", is written by Minakshi , where she shares her learnings through her journey
and her stays in forest farms and the knowledge she has gained during about the benefits of herbal plants. Thus, giving birth
to the brand Aranyakas The Forest Dwellers. A brand established to elaborate and imbibe the knowledge of sustainable living
through natural products for our mind, body and soul.
"Liberate yourself from yourself"- is Minakshi's mantra of life!
